St. Vincent de Paul
Thank you to the St. Vincent de Paul of the Sacred Heart Cathedral who kindly donates food to those hospice families who need it the most. They provide fresh and delicious food from Woolworths once a week. A special warm thank you to Blanche Mpiwa who is organising that.

Apart from the professional care we want to offer our patients - which is the most important aspect of their stay in our hospice unit, we also want to offer them and their loved ones a dignified and worthy experience. This include the garden outside, the carefully selected furniture and interiors, as well as the art we choose to hang on the walls and hallway. We’ve received beautiful pieces, and thanks to Floris Kotze who not only gave us art, but also reframed some of the paintings, we now can truly make this a beautiful space.

Before we moved our office to Siesta Retirement Home where our hospice rooms will also be, our office was in Dromedaris Crescent. A lovely, spacious and modern office. Big enough for our MDT team to have regular meetings, practical enough to facilitate trainings, beautiful enough to meet outside underneath the big tree, and spacious enough to store all our equipment. This special space belonged to our friend and so very generous supporter, Henriette Hoon - who gave us this space to use for such a long time. We thank you from the bottom of our heart, Henriette - your generosity meant the world to us! 🙏🏻❤️
